My hired attorney at law was Jill Polster and I don’t even know where to begin with how great her services were for me. She kept me current with all of the info in regards to my case. At times I just couldn’t get community service hours done before my deadline due to personal illness and she was able to get me an extension that allowed me to complete the mandatory hours that were required of me. There were multiple times that because I didn’t live in the state of Georgia any longer, that I needed her to get me court orders and other court records that I no longer had records of.

When I was charged with “Obstruction of a Police Officer” I was completely terrified. What in the world did THAT mean? I’ve never been in any situation like this before?!? I was in absolute panic because my first court date was less than a few days away I was going to try to just speak to the Judge and tell my side of the story, but thanks goodness my sister convinced me to hire an attorney as fast as possible. My family’s nightmare began when my two sons were falsely accused of Felony Drug charges. This was indeed the most stressful time in my family’s life. As a mature adult, with a very good job, I did a very stupid thing. I took a bag of candy, opened it, ate some and put it back on the shelf. The store manager witnessed this and called me into her office. I immediately admitted to what I did, said I would never do it again and offered to pay. She was very hostile and called the police who gave me a ticket to appear in court. I was a mess. Did not sleep and could not function. I was charged with a serious, serious offense a couple of years ago. I found Jill through the NORML website and it was the blessing I needed. When I found myself needing an attorney I called Andy Cohen after finding him via internet. He was very professional during the consultation. He was very aggressive and had several defense strategies to my situation.
